View from the Ivory Tower

Chris Kadel's attempt at a blog with an ironic title.

About

About This Blog:

“View from the Ivory Tower” is an ironic title.  I probably aspire to stay out of that tower as much as possible.  I’ve been doing programming in some form since high school and it’s a skill that I do not ever want to lose.  That said, I mostly enjoy playing the architect role in projects where we can look at business requirements and organizational trade-offs.  What is nice is to be able to get my hands dirty and help on the development of the solutions that I have a hand in designing.

About Chris:

Chris Kadel has been working primarily as a Microsoft technologist, but has worked with IBM, Sun, Oracle.  This purpose of this blog is for Chris to share his thoughts on the things that interest him mostly – usually that’s Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, .NET, and generally things (technology) that can make lives easier for people.  He’s most passionate about Team Foundation Server and finding ways to make the lives of developers better and more productive.
